18 Transjakarta Fleets Prepared for Anticipating Passenger Surge

Those fleets a re deployed to several corridors in 25 roads that applied the expanded odd-even traffic policy

PT Transjakarta has added 18 BRT and non-BRT bus fleets in an attempt to anticipate a surge in passengers on the first day of the expanded odd-even license plate traffic policy.

"Those fleets are deployed to several corridors in 25 roads that applied the expanded odd-even traffic policy," disclosed Agung Wicaksono, President Director of PT Transjakarta, Monday (9/9).

Expanded Odd-even Trial Increases Transjakarta Passenger

On the other hand, PT Transjakarta Operational Director, Prasetia Budi explained the 18 buses consist of two units of BRT for corridor 4 (Pulogadung Terminal-Dukuh Atas) and corridor 5 (Ancol-Kampung Melayu), corridor 9 (Pinang Ranti-Pluit), two units (Lebak Bulus-Kampung Rambutan), (Lebak Bulus-Senen) and (Senen-Senayan Roundabout).

As for the non-BRT border, there will be an addition of up to four bus units, with details two units (Pondok Cabe-Tanah Abang) and (Poris Plawad-Senayan Roundabout). It is also applied on non-BRT premium, one unit (Cibubur-Kuningan) and (West Bekasi-Kuningan).

"This number will continue to be added if there is a surge in passengers. We also prepare the backup bus if it is needed," he said.
